Here are four reasons we should wear a t-shirt to work.

I feel like my style’s always been influenced by ‘less is more.’ The coolest styles are kind of simple and classic, like a white T-shirt and jeans. Maybe you have a cool belt and cool shoes, but everything else you keep simple.
1.The first and most important one is that they are comfortable. It is a known fact that we humans are most productive when we feel comfortable, for example our comfort- zone, comfortable chair, comfy sofa or our comfortable clothing. My personal experience as a professional who sits, stands and walks for long hours, I am most productive on the days when I may wear my comfortable jeans and a t-shirt. I even put this point during our staff meeting, but since it wasn’t a hot topic that would bring money in the business, they overlooked it. But imagine people who are working in jobs like teaching, medicine, police, firefighters, even corporate jobs if allowed to wear t-shirts. how much they will produce. Off-course, they will be more productive as comfort relaxes our mind and eventually leads to productivity. Not to forget. It saves time as we don’t have to worry about thinking about what to wear for work every day.
2.The other important factor is they are a great equalizer. We all work in environments that have different levels of jobs. Some people can easily afford top brands, but many who cannot. To fit in that environment, often people buy the clothing that their pockets don’t allow. Some people have money, some don’t, this is the truth that we cannot deny and wearing a t-shirt to work will not change this but it will not emphasize it. I can across a company a few years back where everyone from the owner to the janitor wore t-shirts with the company’s logo. It was a big TEAM where everyone was cordial to each other and everyone felt like a part of one big family.
3.T-shirts can make a statement too. They can be super trendy and vibrant. It can have a product branding on them or company branding. It can be fittedor loose as per the taste. It can carry a message you want to deliver to your consumers or just have a company’s logo. The possibilities are endless!! Think about the cost and time saving benefits we will have.
4.Yes, they are affordable. Not everyone can afford to buy a suit and a tie to wear for their first job, especially if the company is not providing compensation for it. Formal shirts, skirts, and trousers are not cheap even if you go for a non-branded one. You can buy 4-5 amazing t-shirts at the price of one suit. Tell me if I am wrong? As an employer, if I am not providing compensation for a professional outfit for my employees, I wouldn’t force them to get one for the job either. Nice jeans and a good clean-ironed t-shirt will work for me. Yes, you heard it right!
Wearing t-shirt to work saves time, saves money-check, increases productivity-check, builds relationship-check!! So what is your take on wearing a t-shirt to work? In today’s date, we all try something out of the box, so why not this?
